Lalor, deputy commander of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 14, discuss the flight route for the delivery of food and water from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) to devastated areas in the Republic of the Philippines caused by Typhoon Fengshen. At the request of the government of the Republic of the Philippines, Ronald Reagan is off the coast of Panay Island providing humanitarian assistance and disaster response. Ronald Reagan and other U.S. Navy ships are operating in the 7th Fleet area of responsibility to promote peace, cooperation and stability.

The First CABATUAN.COM ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for outstanding contributions to the advancement of Cabatuananons in the internet will be given this coming Recognition Day, March 26, 2008 at Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School. It comes with a gold medal, a certificate of award and P5,000.

The awardee is JOAN MABABANGLOOB, a third year Special Science Class student at CNCHS
1. for being instrumental in bringing together the Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School and CNCHS.com
2. for scanning the first edition of 'Ang Sinag' to be posted online, paving the way for other issues and other publications.
3. for submitting several photo galleries of school events to CNCHS.com

The multi-talented Joan has also been reaping honors for Cabatuan National Comprehensive High School. Her works have won the following, among others

2. Champion, Anecdote (Filipino Category), 3rd Regional Literary Writeshop & Contests, Sept 29-30, 2007, Iloilo City.

The Cabatuan.com Achievement Award is being presented in memory of Raymundo Caspe Casalmir, 1960 C.P.A. Board Placer and CNCHS Class 1956 Salutatorian. The award will be given by Mrs. Maria Caspe Ortega, second cousin to Raymundo.
